Belviso StratumLift™ Biofiller

A hybrid approach to volumisation, biostimulation and skin regeneration

A new generation of hybrid products in aesthetic medicine

Contemporary aesthetic medicine is moving increasingly clearly away from a one-dimensional understanding of volumising procedures. Filling tissue deficits alone is no longer sufficient when the aim of treatment is not only to improve facial contour, but also to achieve a long-term improvement in skin quality, density, elasticity and regenerative potential. Hybrid products are developing in this direction, combining the effect of mechanical tissue support with a biostimulating action.

Belviso StratumLift™ Biofiller has been presented as a new-generation product that integrates the properties of a tissue filler with those of a regenerative stimulator. Its formula is based on a combination of cross-linked recombinant human collagen, cross-linked hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides, NAD+ and a succinate complex. This composition is designed to enable simultaneous tissue modelling, volume restoration and activation of the skin’s reparative processes.

Mechanism concept: immediate and long-term effect

The essence of the product lies in combining two planes of action. The first comprises the immediate effect typical of biofillers and dermal fillers: improved volumisation, tissue lifting, modelling of the facial oval, correction of folds and depressions, and improved projection of selected areas such as the chin or zygomatic region.

The second plane concerns long-term action. The product has been designed to support remodelling of the extracellular matrix, collagen stimulation, regeneration of the dermis and improvement of its density and elasticity. In this framework, the procedure is not limited to correcting a volume deficit, but forms part of a broader strategy to improve tissue quality.

Recombinant collagen as a structural scaffold for the skin

One of the key ingredients of the formula is cross-linked RH Collagen, i.e. recombinant human collagen. According to the premises of the presentation, its role is to support reconstruction of the extracellular matrix, improve skin density, increase tissue elasticity and create a natural scaffold for new collagen fibres.

In this concept, collagen is responsible not only for improving skin firmness, but also for a more physiological lifting effect. An important assumption here is the achievement of a natural result, without excessive projection and without an artificial over-accentuation of the facial features.

Hyaluronic acid as the volumising component

The second pillar of the product is cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Its task is to provide the volumising effect, appropriate tissue hydration and improved projection. In practice, this means the product can be used in areas requiring volume restoration, such as the cheeks, zygomatic region, temples, chin or jawline.

Hyaluronic acid serves a structural and modelling function within the formula. It allows an effect that is visible immediately after the procedure, while at the same time forming a base for the other, regenerative components.

Polynucleotides and the remodelling of skin quality

Polynucleotides have been presented as the component responsible for long-term tissue remodelling. Their role encompasses stimulation of fibroblasts, support for the synthesis of type I and type III collagen, improvement of microcirculation, an anti-inflammatory action and improvement of skin quality and thickness.

In the context of anti-ageing therapy, polynucleotides are important because they shift the emphasis from merely masking the signs of ageing towards stimulating reparative processes. Their presence in the formula reinforces the regenerative character of the product and justifies its use not only in volumisation, but also in biostimulation of the skin of the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

NAD+ and the succinate complex as the metabolic component

NAD+ has been described in the presentation as a coenzyme associated with cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, cellular metabolism and protection against oxidative stress. Within the product’s formula, it is intended to support regenerative processes and the biological renewal of the skin.

The succinate complex, based on succinic acid, has been presented as a component supporting cellular respiration, ATP production, microcirculation, tissue oxygenation and a revitalising effect. In practice, this means the product is oriented not only towards volume restoration, but also towards improving the freshness, tone and overall condition of the skin.

Treatment indications

Belviso StratumLift™ Biofiller has been presented as a multifunctional product. In facial volumisation, the indications are primarily the cheeks, zygomatic region, temples, chin, jawline and modelling of the facial oval. In the area of soft-tissue filling, the product may be used to correct nasolabial folds, marionette lines, static wrinkles, the temples and selected tissue deficits.

The third area of application is biostimulation. In this model, the product may be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands and areas with reduced skin quality. This breadth of indications stems from the ability to modify the degree of dilution, thereby adapting the product’s properties to the intended clinical effect.

Three strategies for using a single formula

The presentation distinguishes three basic ways of working with the product.

The first is use in undiluted form. This variant is intended for stronger volumisation, contour modelling, tissue lifting and improved projection. The indications are primarily the cheeks, chin, jawline and volume restoration. Despite a pronounced volumising effect, the product retains the character of a tissue stimulator.

The second variant is a 1:1 dilution, for example by combining 1 ml of the product with 1 ml of saline. This form gives a softer effect, greater integration with the tissue and a more natural fill. It can be used in the correction of nasolabial folds, marionette lines, finer tissue deficits and in areas requiring a more subtle result.

The third variant is a 1:2 dilution, for example with saline or with Belviso Revival™. This model is oriented primarily towards intensive biostimulation, regeneration of the dermis, improvement of skin quality and revitalisation. It can be applied using a cannula technique, needle mesotherapy or numerous intradermal micro-injections.

The importance of supporting anatomical points of support

In the presentation, particular attention was given to the concept of ligament support, i.e. supporting the anatomical points at which tissues are anchored. According to this approach, the essence of the procedure is not only to fill a visible deficit, but also to restore anchoring points, improve the transfer of forces within the supporting structures and create a stable base for further correction.

This is particularly relevant in faces showing features of tissue descent, loss of firmness and weakening of the retaining ligaments. The product is intended to provide an immediate effect of mechanical scaffolding, while simultaneously supporting the biostimulation of type I and type III collagen and improving the density of the deep tissues.

Summary

Belviso StratumLift™ Biofiller has been presented as a multifunctional hybrid product combining volumisation, soft filling and regenerative biostimulation. Its principal characteristic is the ability to work at different therapeutic levels: from modelling and volume restoration, through gentle soft-tissue filling, to intensive improvement of skin quality.

The professional value of this concept lies in the flexibility of applying a single formula. The degree of dilution, the injection technique and the choice of treatment area make it possible to tailor the product to a specific goal: contouring, lifting, regeneration or improvement of skin quality. In this respect, Belviso StratumLift™ Biofiller fits into the modern direction of aesthetic medicine, in which the aim of a procedure is not only to correct the signs of ageing, but also to provide structural and biological support to the tissues.
