RadianceLift CaHA

Belviso RadianceLift CaHA — Skin Booster

A modern intradermal injection preparation combining calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres (CaHA) at 0.5%, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 18 mg/ml, and bioactive peptides. Unlike classic fillers which focus primarily on volumetry and filling of deep wrinkles, Belviso RadianceLift CaHA concentrates on improving overall skin condition — its texture, radiance, and hydration — while simultaneously delivering long-term collagen stimulation. The result is visible, natural rejuvenation without an overdrawn appearance.

Active Ingredients

Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) (0.5%, microspheres) — Long-Acting Collagen Stimulator

A biocompatible and biodegradable substance naturally found in human bones and teeth. CaHA microspheres act as a scaffold for newly formed collagen — fibroblasts migrate to the injection site and actively synthesise type I collagen, responsible for skin densification and firming. After the HA carrier gel is absorbed by the body, the CaHA microspheres remain in the skin and continue to initiate regenerative processes. Structural skin improvement develops gradually, reaching its peak between 3 and 6 months post-treatment. The 0.5% concentration is specifically calibrated for skin booster applications rather than volumetric correction.

Non-Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid (18 mg/ml) — Immediate Hydration & Skin Booster

Provides immediate hydration and a gentle internal plumping effect from the moment of application. Supports rebuilding of the hydrolipidic barrier, improves elasticity and smoothness, and is naturally metabolised by the body, leaving space for the ongoing action of the CaHA microspheres. Due to its light, fluid consistency it is ideal for mesotherapy and skin boosting application.

Bioactive Peptides — Regenerative Signal Agents

Act as regenerative signals, supporting fibroblast proliferation and angiogenesis. Support repair and anti-inflammatory processes, contributing to improvement of overall skin condition. May also increase the bioavailability and effectiveness of other active ingredients.

Indications

  • Dehydrated, dull skin with uneven texture seeking restoration of natural radiance and freshness
  • First signs of skin ageing — loss of firmness, fine lines, and roughness
  • Younger patients seeking preventive skin care and maintenance of vitality and elasticity
  • Patients seeking an alternative to invasive procedures or classic fillers, expecting subtle but long-lasting revitalisation
  • Patients who do not wish to increase tissue volume but want to improve skin quality naturally and safely
  • Skin laxity requiring improvement in a natural and safe manner

Mechanism of Action

Phase 1 — Immediate hydration and skin appearance improvement: The non-cross-linked HA carrier gel acts immediately after administration, delivering intensive hydration and a gentle internal plumping effect. The skin becomes firmer, more elastic, smoother, and more radiant almost immediately. The strong hygroscopic properties of HA effectively eliminate signs of dryness, greyness, and skin fatigue.

Phase 2 — Long-term collagen stimulation: After the HA is absorbed by the body, the CaHA microspheres remain in the skin as a scaffold for newly forming collagen. Fibroblasts migrate to the injection site and actively synthesise type I collagen. This process occurs gradually — over the months following treatment, significant remodelling of the extracellular matrix takes place, translating into improved skin thickness, resilience, and resistance to laxity.

Skin boosting vs. traditional fillers: Belviso RadianceLift CaHA works in the superficial layers of the dermis, focusing on improving skin quality rather than adding volume. It hydrates, improves texture, increases elasticity, and stimulates tissue regeneration — making it an ideal solution for patients who want skin revitalisation without an overdrawn effect.

  • Reduced visibility of wrinkles and signs of skin thinning
  • Gentle rejuvenation without volume addition

Key Benefits

  • Dual mechanism — immediate and long-term: HA delivers instant visible hydration and radiance while CaHA microspheres initiate a gradual collagen rebuilding process that develops over months.
  • CaHA as a natural scaffold: Once the HA carrier is absorbed, CaHA microspheres remain in the dermis and continue to drive type I collagen synthesis by attracting and activating fibroblasts.
  • Not a volumiser: Unlike classic fillers, this preparation works in superficial dermis layers to improve skin quality — texture, hydration, and elasticity — without adding volume or reshaping contours.
  • Naturally occurring substance: CaHA is found in human bones and teeth, resulting in high biocompatibility and low risk of allergic reactions.
  • Minimal downtime: The procedure is minimally invasive and can be performed in a clinic setting with very short recovery — most patients can return to daily activities immediately.
  • Combination compatible: Can be combined with botulinum toxin in a mesobotox protocol for the neck and décolletage.
  • Broad patient profile: Suitable for both younger patients seeking preventive care and patients with early signs of ageing.

Post-Treatment Recommendations

Immediately after treatment:

  • Gently massage the injection area using light circular movements to distribute the product evenly in the tissue and avoid localised accumulation.
  • Avoid intensive pressure — the massage should be light.

For 24 to 48 hours after treatment, avoid:

  • Sun exposure and UV radiation (including sunbeds)
  • Physical exercise, sauna, swimming pool, and hot baths
  • Alcohol consumption, which may increase swelling and the risk of bruising
  • Makeup application — wait a minimum of 12 hours

Typical mild post-treatment reactions:

  • Redness, swelling, tenderness, and a sensation of tension — usually resolve within 24 to 72 hours
  • Minor bruising may appear at injection sites, particularly in patients prone to subcutaneous bleeding — cold compresses and preparations containing arnica or Vitamin K are recommended
  • Small nodules or elevations may be visible for the first 1 to 3 days and gradually absorb

Additional patient guidance:

  • Do not massage intensively without consulting the treating practitioner
  • Do not use strong cosmetics, peels, or irritating products for several days following treatment
  • If symptoms persist for more than a few days or worsen, contact the treating practitioner

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation (HA, CaHA, peptides, preservatives)
  • Active skin infections, inflammation, herpes, open wounds, or other skin damage at the planned injection site
  • Autoimmune diseases — proceed with caution and individual physician assessment
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding (no clinical studies available)
  • Patients on anticoagulant therapy — higher risk of bruising, proceed with caution
  • Do not combine with other invasive procedures (laser therapy, RF, deep peeling) on the same day — allow a minimum of 14 days following such procedures before using Belviso RadianceLift CaHA

Possible Side Effects

Mild and transient (most common):

  • Swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising at the injection site — typically resolve within 1 to 3 days
  • Cold compresses, arnica, or Vitamin K preparations may be used supportively

Nodules or small subcutaneous bumps:

  • Rare — usually result from too superficial or uneven product placement
  • Appropriate injection technique and gentle post-treatment massage are recommended

Infection:

  • Extremely rare but possible, particularly with inadequate aseptic technique
  • Requires immediate medical intervention and may require antibiotic therapy
